EXCHANGE RATES
VISA: PASSPORTS: A valid passport is required by all except holders of a Hong Kong certificate of identity bearing a Thai visa issued in Hong Kong, and holders of a Singapore certificate of identity issued in Singapore with a visa. Passports must be valid for six months beyond intended length of stay.
VISAS: Due to the complexity of, and frequent changes to, passport/visa regulations, travelers are advised to check current requirements with their consulate prior to travel.
Normally you get a tourist visa for 30 days on your entry to Thailand.

DINING: You can find places to eat 24 hours a day, to buy food from sidewalk stalls, where food is cheap and palatable, is also an option and worth trying.
SHOPPING: You have wide range of good buys to choose from. They are beautiful because Thais are gifted artists, and inexpensive because the labor cost is low.
